Our garden is located in
the state of Himachal Pradesh, and lies in the Kangra Valley. A garden
which is more than 100 years old having the finest Chinese Variety of
trees. This specifically as the garden was planted way back in 1860’s by
the British who were trying to grow tea in this valley.
At Manjhee Valley T.E. we
have approximately 650 acres under tea plantation. The teas are grown
between a height of 4000 feet to 5100 feet. The uniqueness of this
location lies with its closeness to the sub-Himalayan range and it being
situated at a northern latitude in relation to the others gardens of
India.
We have a well – equipped
factory where we produce 150,000 kilos of tea annually catering to
various customers around the world. We produce Orthodox tea and at
specific times of the year, conducive to the quality parameters that we
have set, we also produce White Tea, Oolong Tea and Green Tea. |
